National Military Brat Heritage Week™ is the premier annual gathering dedicated exclusively to military brats of every generation. It is a week where stories are preserved, friendships are renewed, leaders are developed, achievements are celebrated, and future generations discover that they are part of something much larger than themselves.
Whether you grew up moving from installation to installation, attended schools across continents, lived overseas, experienced deployments, or built lifelong friendships through military life, Heritage Week is where those shared experiences become a living celebration of community and belonging.

Military brats share a unique identity shaped by service, resilience, adaptability, and the constant experience of beginning again.
For generations, military brats have built friendships that span states, countries, and continents. Yet many have never had a permanent institution dedicated to preserving those experiences or bringing the community together on a national scale.
National Military Brat Heritage Week™ was created to change that.
It provides one place where military brats, from children and teenagers to adults, veterans, and Heritage Military Brats, can return each year to reconnect, celebrate, learn, and inspire one another.
During Heritage Week, military brat culture comes alive through leadership forums, educational programs, cultural celebrations, family reunions, national awards, innovation showcases, esports competitions, artistic performances, and community service.
