As the knowledge engine of the ecosystem, MDAI™ develops and advances the Body of Knowledge™, conducts original and applied research, establishes professional standards, publishes scholarship, develops assessment methodologies, provides executive education, and supports evidence-informed decision-making that strengthens Military-Connected Destinations™ worldwide.

The Heritage Center™ preserves, interprets, and shares the history, experiences, artifacts, oral histories, traditions, and cultural legacy of military brats through exhibitions, archives, digital collections, storytelling, and educational programs.
