THE MILITARY BRAT HOMECOMING GAMES™
The Places That Raised Us. The Teams That Reunite Us.
YOU MAY HAVE LEFT THE BASE. YOU NEVER LEFT THE TEAM. ™
Military brats know what it means to leave a team behind.
A permanent change of station can separate young athletes from teammates, coaches, classmates, and communities with little warning.
The Military Brat Homecoming Games™ has been developed to create a new kind of national athletic gathering, one in which the places that shaped our childhood become part of our sporting identity.
Rather than organizing competition solely around a participant's current residence, the Homecoming Games will explore team affiliations based on shared military installation histories and military-connected communities.
Former brats from Ramstein, Yokosuka, Fort Cavazos, Camp Humphreys, and other military communities could reunite under common sporting identities.
Individual & Endurance Championships
Running, cycling, multisport, golf, pickleball, and age-group competitions.
Adaptive & Inclusive Competitions
Accessible team and individual athletic experiences integrated into the championship program.
Base Legacy Championships™
Installation-affiliated and military-community teams competing under approved eligibility rules.
Family & Heritage Relays
Multigenerational participation bringing together children, parents, adult military brats, and older generations.
The Homecoming Experience
The Games may also feature alumni reunions, opening ceremonies, heritage recognition, sports exhibits, family entertainment, destination excursions, and closing celebrations.
The proposed national event would span approximately five to six days, subject to host-city feasibility, athlete recruitment, and event financing.
One Childhood. Many Duty Stations. One Homecoming.
The Homecoming Games are intended to transform military brat identity into an enduring athletic tradition.
