What Are Brat Corps® National Initiatives?

Brat Corps® National Initiatives HQ operates programs that strengthen military-brat identity, develop youth leaders, preserve military-brat culture, and advocate for military-family policy at the national level. These programs function both nationally and locally through Brat Corps Posts™, creating a unified ecosystem of leadership, mentorship, heritage, and advocacy.

National Initiatives are the cultural and institutional backbone of Brat Corps®. While Posts provide community hubs and Esports provides competitive opportunities, National Initiatives ensure that military-brat identity, values, and voice remain at the center of everything we do. From J-POST™ youth leadership to the Military Brat Hall of Fame™ to congressional advocacy, National Initiatives celebrate who we are and shape policy for military families nationwide.

Every military brat, whether you're 13 or 65 can participate in National Initiatives. You can develop leadership skills, mentor younger brats, be honored for your achievements, influence national policy, or contribute to preserving military-brat culture and history.
