The National Home Base for Military Brats®

Brat Corps® is the first national organization created exclusively for military brats, children, youth, adults, and families whose lives have been shaped by military service.

Founded in 2026, Brat Corps® exists to preserve military brat culture, strengthen military-connected identity, develop future leaders, and create a permanent community that lasts long after military service ends.

For generations, military brats have shared one of America's most unique childhood experiences. We have crossed oceans, changed schools, adapted to new cultures, navigated deployments, celebrated reunions, and learned to begin again more times than most people will in a lifetime.

Although our journeys differ, our experiences create a shared identity that deserves recognition, preservation, and community.

Brat Corps® exists so that no military brat—regardless of age, service status, or where life leads—has to navigate that journey alone.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 42-2847088), we are building the nation's first permanent institutional home for military brats through community, leadership, innovation, education, advocacy, and lifelong belonging.

Military service may eventually end. Being a military brat never does.
