ABOUT BRAT CORPS®

The National Home Base for Military Brats®

Brat Corps® is the first national organization established to serve military brats across every stage of life. We exist to unite, support, and strengthen one of America's most resilient and globally connected communities by creating opportunities for lifelong belonging, leadership, heritage preservation, innovation, and community development.

Founded in 2026, Brat Corps® recognizes that being a military brat is not simply a childhood experience, it is a lifelong identity shaped by service, sacrifice, resilience, mobility, and shared experiences that transcend generations.

Today, military brats include children, teenagers, adults, veterans, retirees, and families living throughout the United States and around the world. While military service may end, military brat identity continues throughout life.

Brat Corps® provides the permanent community many military brats have searched for long after leaving military installations, changing schools, or transitioning into civilian life.

We believe every military brat deserves a place to belong.

BRAT CORPS® Descriptor

Brat Corps® is the first and only permanent home base created exclusively for military brats of every generation.

We unite military-connected children, youth, adults, and families through lifelong belonging, leadership development, heritage preservation, local Brat Corps® Posts, national initiatives, esports, education, mentorship, advocacy, and community engagement.

Our mission is to ensure that every military brat, regardless of age, service branch, duty status, or where life has taken them, always has a place to belong, lead, serve, and thrive.

Brat Corps® is an international nonprofit organization and lifelong membership community serving military brats and military-connected families. It operates local Brat Corps® Posts, national leadership initiatives, educational programs, heritage preservation efforts, mentorship networks, esports competitions, community development programs, and advocacy initiatives designed to strengthen identity, belonging, and opportunity for military brats worldwide.
