Nomination & Selection Process

Timeline:

  • October–December: Nomination period (open to public)

  • January: Selection Committee review (10 members: Brat Corps leaders, Hall of Fame honorees, external experts)

  • February: Finalists announced

  • March: Induction Ceremony (Brat Corps Summit, March 15–17)

Nomination Requirements:

  • Nominee must be military-brat (or military-connected adult)

  • Minimum 5 years in field of achievement

  • Demonstrated impact and leadership

  • Written nomination (500 words max) with supporting materials

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellence and achievement in field

  • Impact on military-brat or military-family community

  • Leadership and integrity

  • Inspiration to others

  • Diversity of representation (across categories, regions, demographics)
